I am looking for information on (Mary) Mollie HANCOCK. She 1st married Robert Wright in Oklahoma. She was born February 14, 1891 in Mississippi. She died August 27, 1966, Lake Co., California. She is buried as Mollie Brassfield in the old section of the Upper Lake Cemetery. Looking for name of second husband. Norman David njdavis@cableone.net 4/12/2005 Graveside services were conducted in Upper Lake Cemetery Wednesday for Mrs. Mollie Brassfield, Lucerne, who passed away Saturday in a local hospital after an illness of two months. The deceased was born February 14, 1891, in Mississippi. Surviving are her daughters, Mrs. Hassie Brasher, Upper Lake, and Bonnie Henson, Lucerne, sons, Wesley Wright, Porterville, Robert Wright, San Diego, and Grant Brassfield, Rosemont, and a brother, J.F. Hemcock, Fort Worth, Texas. Rev. W.C. McPheeters officiated at services which were under the direction of Jones Mortuary.

I cant find any of these people who are his children in newton co ar. surely, they were there. i finally found a grandson abner in 1880 newton co. but none of the others. i wish i knew more about this line of brassfields. i see that barns adam got killed during the civil war. I am in doubt about a lot of what folks say about Adam Brassfield. I cant find much to doc. the family. All those kids say they were born in newton co ar., but they missed all the censuses. something is amiss, wish i could figure out what it was.
