Ledbetter) having owned this house...1-14 1920 to 9-15 1920. Listed on Register for 1916-1917, Simpson Co, MS as being eliigible for World War I..Birthdate...2 Feb 1886. Thought you'd be interested in this. Gladys Feicke Mendenhall, MS 30 miles south of capital, Jackson...highway 49. 3/5/2002 ****************************************** Mike, Also just found out that Rev Charles David Potts, father of Lila Belle Potts Ledbetter, was minister here in Mendenhall 1905-1906 at the First Baptist Church. Somerfield having lived in my house. Found 1920 census for Mendenhall town, E.D. 133..Beat 1...Simpson Co., MS pag. 12 A and B. Stuart S. 34 b. GA occupation hard to make out..something about postal service......Lila B wife 28 b. MS....Dennis C ..9 son b. MS....Charles 7 son b. MS...1st line on page 12 B. Somerfield S. 3 & 2/12. They had deed to this house 14 Jan 1920..census dated 20 of Jan 1920. They sold house 15 Sept 1920....so were not here long.
